The Presentation Crit review went well and both tutors and peers thought our ideas were interesting and achievable. The Tutors thought 'Change The Record' was an interesting unique idea which would work well, but they were a bit conserned with not having an physical place to do the interview as the record shop has been converted into a Chinese, which was also a concern for us. However they also like the Urban Canvas idea even though Graffiti has been explored in Documentaries before, but if we changed our focus slightly it could be averted as they thought the question 'is it art or vandalism?' has been covered. Our peers voted and the overwhelming majority thought that the Urban Canvas was the more interesting option to follow up on.
We decided to go for the Urban Canvas idea after the feed back and the new contacts that we gained from posting on the Zap Graffiti page. We altered our focus from 'is graffiti art or vandalism?' to portraying street art in a positive way through personal experiences of people in Liverpool.
