I particularly enjoyed the film Om. This caught my eye with the interesting use of narrative and plot twist. I like how it played with the fact that they are aware that the audience are active rather than passive. The film represents what a first seems to be a monk saying 'Om'. The audience assumes this through iconography such as his bald head and the orange monk robe, with meditation having connotations with saying 'Om' and monks. This sound then gradually turns into the sound of a razor and the monks robe was actually a cloak to stop the hairs falling on him when getting his head shaved. The guys stands up and is dressed in a iconic 80/90's punk style shocking the audience.
